In the spirit of J Trust Group official tagline, JUMP TOGETHER, J Trust Bank carried out its effort to help productive age society in surviving the pandemic together, through partnering with DISNAKER, The Manpower of Jakarta Municipality. A collaborative workshop was created, targeted to assist the unemployed citizens in Central Jakarta district. As part of J Trust Bank’s green-banking commitment, herbal/non-chemical soap making was chosen as the product training subject, as soap is also considered relevant to current pandemic market needs, especially in COVID-19 spread prevention. Through this two days event, as an act of togetherness, both parties emboldened the participants to keep their hopes and outlooks positive for income accessibility opportunities despite the challenging times they are facing today.
The kick-off ceremonial was presented by Bapak Fidiyah Rokhim as Head of the Department of Manpower, Transmigration and Energy of Central Jakarta Municipality, with Bapak Felix I. Hartadi, as Director representative of J Trust Bank.
Each participant was facilitated and equipped with all necessary tools and materials required during training and was provided with his/her business starter working capital. At the end of workshop, participants were granted official-certifications from DISNAKER-JAKPRENEUR, the training facilitators. With the certifications in hand, participants are enabled to jump-start their home industry.
In the future, J Trust Bank will continue to focus on corporate responsibility with social welfare and green banking, with business relevance to help society in overcoming the current pandemic.
