Financial Institution

Bank J Trust in cooperation with more than 100 correspondent banks worldwide serves and provides solutions for all customer transactions.


  • Export Transaction is a facility provided by a Correspondent Bank for discounting export bills (usance L/C) from the opening bank which risk is acceptable, so that the exporter will receive funds earlier with the aim to help the customer’s cash flow.
  • Documentary Collection Transaction is an international and/or local trade transaction without L/C. The goal is to provide ease to importer and exporter customers in executing sale and purchase transactions with the bank as a means of intermediation although there is no payment guarantee from the bank.
  • Negotiation of Export Bill (NWE) is upfront financing against export documents on the basis of local and international Sight and Usance L/C. The goal is to help exporter customers get cash flow and not have to wait until payment is received from the buyer.
  • Discounting D/A or D/P (Export Collection), with the aim to help exporters meet cash flow needs and not have to wait for the proceeds of non-L/C export transactions.
  • Pre-Shipment Facility is a working capital financing facility for exporter customers before packing (shipment).
  • International Letter of Credit is an international trade transaction using international L/C with the goal to provide importer customers with ease to obtain raw materials or finished goods for their operations through L/C instruments as recognized by banks.
  • Domestic Letter of Credit (SKBDN) (Local L/C) is a trade transaction instrument applicable in the country (Indonesia). SKBDN is characterized as a trading instrument in the country recognized by the Government. Bank Indonesia is the guarantee institution in regulating all parties involved in Local L/C transactions. All other conditions are almost the same with international L/Cs applicable in the business world. L/Cs issued can take the form of sight/usance L/C, in Indonesian/English and are subject to Bank Indonesia regulations.
  • Usance Payable Sight (UPAS) is a facility provided by a correspondent Bank to make a L/C payment by the importer, while the exporter gets earlier paid funds (as sight). The characteristic is that this L/C transaction is executed as “Usance L/C”. Indonesian importers pay in time according to the tenor of the Usance L/C, while the exporters abroad get paid at Sight by the financing bank/negotiating bank. This transaction is executed with resource to Bank J Trust.
  • Standby Letter of Credit is a guarantee facility issued by PT Bank J Trust Tbk as the Issuing Bank to guarantee the Beneficiary if the Applicant (Exporter) experienced a default against the contract / engagement on which the issuance of SBLC is based. The characteristic is that PT. Bank J Trust Tbk serves as the Opening/Issuing Bank. Applicant of SBLC issued is the direct exporter or the indirect exporter (exporter supplier). The type of SBLC issued is in accordance with the International Chambers of Commerce provisions in terms of (ISP) which is effective along with its update.
  • Trust Receipt, is a facility provided to a customer to act as “Trustee” in the utilization of a loan related to an import transaction. The goal is to help the customer/ importer in facilitating business by providing a payment delay facility in taking imported goods (raw materials from abroad) and granting a loan for opening L/C.

Bank Guarantee product from J Trust Bank to guarantee your obligations to counter party. With a Bank Guarantee from us, your counter party as beneficiary, will receive compensation in form of payment from us, in case of default or broken promises. Thus, the Bank Guarantee can enhance your company's image, on the other hand it also minimize Beneficiary losses due to default.

Bank Guarantee Issuance can be done using facilities provided by J Trust Bank, or by using your own fund as Deposit.

Bank Guarantee can be issued in Rupiah currency and all foreign currency that has a recorded rate in Bank Indonesia. Bank Guarantee can be covered with:

  • Deposit of 25% -100% from nominal of bank guarantee to be issued
  • Counter Guarantee issued by insurance company that has partnership with J Trust Bank
